Alessio Rastani Seminar Pitch Man- “I Dream of Recessions”!

"I Dream Of Recessions"As a former insider for the same London Seminar Company that Alessio Rastani is “Selling Seminars For” I am shocked at the lack of due diligence on the part of the BBC , Metro Newspaper, Forbes and other media outlets.  According to the BBC, he is a “so called” London trader and not a hoaxter who started a firestorm with is attack on Goldman Sachs and his statement that he “dreams about a recession to profit from.” First I am surprised that so much attention has been given to Alessio Rastani who is a “speaker” and not so much a trader. Yes I know that his website says he is a trader, but if it said he was a Big Mac would you believe that to?  Watching the number of people signing onto his Facebook & Twitter accounts run from a few to thousands and his youtube video shoot from 360 views to over 1 Million astounds me, not so much for people wanting to see what he said but more so for that fact that they want to get advice from him.

That means there are a lot of “SHEEP–LE” out there!  Wake up just because he was on BBC does not mean he knows how to trade. The sad thing is these are the same people who want “someone else to make them rich” instead of doing their homework and getting properly educated.

I learned to trade from attending financial seminars for over 16 years and paid a great deal of money along the way, some of them were excellent and helped me make some nice profits…as a foundation I built my own “EDGE” from there and am proud of the years and years of work and investment I have made in MYSELF, however the majority of these programs are run by charlatans and snake oil pitchmen who could not care less if you make money as long as they suck you dry. I found this out by attending events and then eventually speaking for many of the biggest financial seminar companies in the world.  In 2008  I got sick of the fact that they did not care if they sold people on pipe-dreams and taught them very little, kind of a love them and leave them so I started Serene Investor to help people really learn to trade.  I do love to teach but unlike 90% of the speakers who are out there selling I actually trade and have made very good money doing so and yes I have lost some big amounts also.  The fact is that there is money in trading if you learn to manage risk and use volatility to your favor.  It is important that everyone does their own due diligence.

It has also been speculated that Alessio is part of the “YES MEN” which he is not. I realize that some things he said many people resonate with and understandably so.  I agree that the banks have too much control and that Goldman Sachs has filled the government with their insiders. I also agree you can learn to make money when markets fall but to say someone “Prays for a recession” is absolutely ridicules, I have been trading for over 16 years and yes I have taught people to trade, over 150,000 but I would NEVER pray for a recession and it is NOT as easy to make money in a down market as it is in a nice bull market.  I have made money and lost money but trading is not easy, it can be lucrative but it should not be a dream to have the economy ripped apart for selfish gain by attention seekers.

There are independent traders out there like me who want to see a healthy economy, more jobs and a return to a bull market where more people can WIN!

The fact is some will do ANYTHING for money and the media propagates it making “Rock Stars” out of attention seeking liars who trade the market as a hobby. Trading is a hobby for those who like to lose.

Only one media source so far has done proper investigative reporting, I applaud the Telegraph , which sheds light on the real picture of the “so called” city trader.

It is important to know that there are a lot of good hearted traders out there that don’t’ want to see the world in shambles, but will send warning signs out.  It is also important to know that much of the media creates illusion and leads many who are not willing to research down a path to slaughter.  I urge you to use caution and ask questions and perhaps this will be a catalyst to help people wake up do their homework.
